Hocking Hills has so much to offer; Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Conkle’s Hollow, the Rock House, Cantwell Cliffs, State Forest Horsemen’s Camp, Archery Range, Ash Cave, the Devil’s Bathtub, camping, cabins, canoeing, fine dining, shopping, the ziplines, bike trails….

WE LOVE HOCKING HILLS!

This video features parts of a camping trip that I went on with my friends over the summer. Most of the scenes were filmed at Cantwell Cliffs, but there are also some of our campsite and other famous parts of Hocking Hills. It was such a great experience!

Why I love Hocking Hills:

Every summer is an event for our family in the Hocking Hill area. Each summer we have a large number of friends who meet at Camp Oty’Okwa which is a Helping Hand Service (Big Brother, Etc.). Each year we have over 40 or so people from all over the U.S. converge on this campground. Someone almost always brings a tv to watch the Buckeyes game on Saturday. Our memories of hiking and hanging out at the split rock and other little know areas is part of the mystery. Its a little known area that is amazing to explore. Try to find it if you can. Our best memory is deciding to go ziplining at the Hocking Hills tours. What an amazing group of people who work there. I can tell you that there is nothing like experiencing Hocking Hills at 30 miles per hour at over 70 feet in the air!

Whether is flying through the trees, sitting around a campfire, or just walking the dogs; lifes troubles can slip from your memory by coming to this special place. If god created a place to put your mind at ease i’m sure he had this part Ohio in mind when he did it.

Until next summer we’ll just have to take a long walk in the snow. See you there sometime soon.

Kristin and Dan couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate their one year anniversary. On the weekend of November 7th 2010 they enjoyed the sights and sounds of Hocking Hills! Of course they brought along Charles too! He is their energetic and fun loving dachshund!

I had a great time in Hocking Hills with my family!  I’d love to come back one day!

We were in Hocking Hills for the first time and decided to make a video to enter the contest. We had a great time! and would love to come back!

Neither of us have ever ridden a horse before. Happy trails made it so easy and fun!  Made me want to take up horseback riding and get horses!
